If you've been following the iPhone rumours, you may have come across reports stating that the standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max would feature last year's A15 Bionic chip, while the Pro variants would be getting the new one. However, the A16 Bionic might not be a huge upgrade, as it's said to be based on the same 5nm process.

Earlier, it was reported that Apple was the first to contract with TSMC for the manufacturer's 3nm process. Now, the story continues as TSMC is expected to put their 3nm process into mass production in 2022. Other than that, the semiconductor supplier is also planning to scale up its 5nm process manufacturing capacity to match the demand from its major customers.
