The ASUS Lolliflash remains one of the few external dual LED lights in the Malaysian market for better and more portable lighting for your cameraphone shots. It is now available at the ASUS Store Malaysia for just RM49. Fitting easily into any 3.5mm jack, the external LED flashlight offers 3 levels of intensity or brightness and comes in blue, red, yellow and white. While it should make taking selfie shots easier with better skin tone, the 8g Lolliflash is also useful for a bit more lighting when you need it in those low-light condition shots. While the ASUS LolliFlash provides an external light, the ASUS ZenFlash is a dedicated external Xenon flash. Paired together with the ASUS ZenFlash app, you can finetune your flash experience even more, which should make those who take cameraphone photography seriously quite happy. Designed for the ASUS ZenFone 2, we managed to do an unboxing and hands-on video of the ASUS ZenFlash in this article.

ASUS Malaysia have launched the ASUS ZenFone Selfie for RM1049 on preorder. Available on preorder (via Thundermatch) the first 50 to do so will get a free ASUS ZenPower 9600 mAh powerbank and an ASUS LolliFlash external flashlight at no extra charge. The ZenFone Selfie standout features remain a 13MP PixelMaster camera on both the front and back with laser autofocus and dual LED real tone flash. Other tech specs include a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The 5.5-inch display will have a full HD resolution and a protective layer of the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The ZenFone Selfie will also offer 4G LTE connectivity with Dual SIM and Dual Standby. The smartphone should be available for the general public in the next few weeks.

While the ASUS Lolliflash was spotted previously in Jakarta, we also recently saw it at the ASUS ZenPad Zensationroadshow currently happening at Centre court, Mid Valley Megamall. We also managed to get our hands on this external flashlight. It turns out that it is not just a dual LED external light that can slot into the 3.5mm jack, but it also has 3 different adjustable brightness levels. It also comes with three colour filters which help diffuse the light and spread it more evenly. The ASUS ZenFone 2 #IncredibleZenDay launch has just happened, confirming earlier rumours about pricing, tech specs and variants for the ASUS ZenFone 2 smartphones available for Malaysia. These include the lowest-end 5-inch display ASUS ZenFone 2 ZE550CL for RM599 and the highest-end ASUS ZenFone 2 ZE551ML with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage for RM1299. Check out the full pricing which is inclusive of the 6% GST below:

The upcoming ASUS ZenFone 2 launch in Malaysia on 9 May 2015 at KL Live may well be as incredible as ASUS says it will be. While registration has been closed to 1500 lucky ZenFans, the first 100 who queue up early for the 11.00am start will win brand new ASUS ZenPower powerbanks for free. Those looking to buy the 64-bit Intel Atom powered ASUS ZenFone 2 can also get it on the same day with numerous lucky draws and activities planned for the event. Turns out, Malaysia will be getting the 5-inch display ASUS ZenFone 2 ZE500CL for RM599 (which isn't a bad thing considering it's recent performance). After months of build-up ASUS have launched the ASUS ZenFone 2 for the Southeast Asian region which includes Malaysia, Indonesia, Philipines, Vietnam and Thailand. We managed to catch the festivities early and ASUS made it a really big "Search for Incredible" from start till end. While local pricing and Malaysia release dates are still set for the Malaysia launch on 9 May 2015 they revealed rapidly rising rankings for mobile devices in the region, achieving number 1 or top 3 in the notebook, tablet and smartphone industries. The new ASUS ZenFone 2 in particual offers various new future proofing tech specs and features like a 64-bit Intel Atom processor, 4GB RAM, a 5.5-inch display, 4G LTE connectivity and more. They also revealed that Indonesia will be getting 4 versions from the ASUS ZenFone 2 ZE550ML 2GB RAM to the range-topping ZE551ML with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Malaysia is likely to see similar variants as well (else there may be a repeat of last year's commotion) but check out the pricing and tech specs for yourself below:

Asides from the ASUS ZenFone 2 pricing, ASUS have also announced some very interesting peripherals for it with two separate external flash devices. These two external flash accessories are called theASUS ZenFlash and ASUS LolliFlash. They provide a more powerful xenon flash (about 400x more powerful) over the standard LED flash on your smartphone and connect via USB OTG. Not much details about pricing or release dates but we expect it to be announced along with the ASUS ZenFone 2 and ZenFone Zoom come this April 2015.
