According to Bloomberg, Mark Gurman said Apple has begun testing AirPods with cameras. The camera on these earphones can't record photos or videos. Instead, it will only see when the wearer tells it to. For example, it can recognise what is being held or seen and count the calories of food in front of its eyes. So, what should you know about it?

According to Bloomberg, Apple is considering selling iPhones, MacBooks and AirPods under the Ultra class in the near future. That said, what should you know about it?

Apple has officially released iOS 26.1 for compatible iPhone models, introducing refinements and new settings focused on improving user control, accessibility, and device integration. The update adds the new “Liquid Glass” toggle, lets users disable the Lock Screen swipe-to-open Camera gesture, expands language support for Apple Intelligence and AirPods Live Translation, and includes several smaller usability upgrades.

According to recent discoveries in iOS 26 beta 6, Apple appears to be preparing a Live Translation feature for AirPods. The beta code includes imagery labelled “Translate” showing AirPods alongside greetings like “Hello” in multiple languages, and suggests activation via a double-press gesture on the stems.

Apple has kicked off its annual Back to School promotion in Malaysia, offering students, parents of university-goers, and educators a limited-time bonus. This includes a choice of free AirPods or an eligible accessory with every Mac or iPad purchase made through the Apple Education Store.
