It's not often that you see promotions from Apple Malaysia and when they do, it's usually new discount prices whenever the next-gen products are released. In this article, a few Mac and iPad products are having a University Student Offer with a free AirPods or Apple Pencil bundle.

Today, Switch Malaysia launched its first Apple Premium Partner (APP) Store in Malaysia at Sunway Pyramid Mall. With a wide range of Apple products, from the iPhone to the Mac, the new retail concept aims to enhance customers' shopping experience at one of Malaysia's iconic malls.

Apple recently refreshed its AirPods Pro lineup with the second-generation version having some notable improvements over the original, including a new “Adaptive Transparency” mode. However, despite the new mode being exclusive to the second-gen Airpods Pro, some users are seeing the option to have it enabled on their first-gen AirPods Pro in iOS 16.1 beta 3.

Fans of Apple’s true wireless stereo earbuds have been waiting for the tech giant to update its AirPods Pro for some time now, with a rumoured refresh never came to be over the past two years. If the latest rumour is to be believed however, the AirPods Pro 2 will be coming later this year and will feature USB Type-C.

Starting from today until 7 March, customers who purchase selected Mac and iPad products will receive a pair of AirPods for free. However, there's a catch for it. The promotion is only available for university students or those who have a job at education institutions. 

It looks like we'd be getting several new Apple products soon after sources said that the next Apple Event could be held on 23 March. If it's true, we could be seeing the long-awaited AirTags, new iPads, and upgraded AirPods at this upcoming event. During the pandemic, it is also possible that the tech giant would not hold any event but simply release the products via press releases, just like last year's iPad Pro.

Sadly, the latest Apple iPhone 12 series doesn't have the reverse wireless charging function despite equipped with a mechanism that supports it. Given that most users might also be using the other Apple accessories like the Apple Watch or AirPods these days, we think they would be glad if the iPhones can provide battery life to those mentioned products. With that said, the company has patented a few iPhone case designs with charging the AirPods as the central idea.

Speculations based on rumours may not always be accurate, but if it's based on supply chain movement then maybe something could be up. Allegedly, suppliers in China have claimed that Apple could launch a new iPhone SE and AirPods Pro relatively soon.

Based on a statement by cultofmac.com, it seems that the Apple AirPods Max might be having issues likely due to condensation from the wearer’s sweat. This is likely due to the fact that the AirPods Max are made largely of metal, which is usually quite cool to the touch which could promote condensation.
