As Apple introduced several software features for its product lineup, the AirPods are also getting new updates. This includes studio-grade audio recording, a camera remote, and new communication tools for the AirPods 4, AirPods 4 with ANC, and AirPods Pro 2.

Today, Apple will roll out new sleep and hearing health features to Apple Watch and AirPods Pro 2 to users in Malaysia. These new features expand across products, such as the new Breathing Disturbances metric for the Apple Watch and the world’s first end-to-end hearing function on the AirPods Pro 2.

Apple recently refreshed its AirPods Pro lineup with the second-generation version having some notable improvements over the original, including a new “Adaptive Transparency” mode. However, despite the new mode being exclusive to the second-gen Airpods Pro, some users are seeing the option to have it enabled on their first-gen AirPods Pro in iOS 16.1 beta 3.

Apple might launch the AirPods Pro 2 by this year. However, reputable analyst Mark Gurman claims that it will not be the only new gadget the company will present, as AirPods Max might also get its upgrade after a considerably long time.

The latest generation of the AirPods, the AirPods 3 is apparently not as successful as what Apple hoped it to be. So much so, that the tech giant is allegedly cutting orders of the true wireless earbuds from its suppliers by over 30 percent for the second and third quarter of 2022.

Shared by reliable tipster regarding everything Apple, Ming-Chi Kuo on Twitter, it is alleged that the demand for the latest generation AirPods is ‘significantly weaker’ than for its predecessor. Kuo further claimed that this was due to failed product segmentation strategy by Apple.

A couple of hours ago, Siri apparently gave away an upcoming livestream date for the next Apple Event on 20 April. It was only a matter of time where Apple would send out an official announcement and they did. Scheduled live on the said date, the livestream time is 10 AM (PDT) which is 1 AM in our local time zone on the 21st.

Speculations based on rumours may not always be accurate, but if it's based on supply chain movement then maybe something could be up. Allegedly, suppliers in China have claimed that Apple could launch a new iPhone SE and AirPods Pro relatively soon.
