Allwinner Technology is a Chinese fabless semiconductor company that creates their own system on a chip (SOC) for OEM smartphones that are both low cost and feature acceptable performance. What they recently created is not a phone however – it is a laptop, running RemixOS which they have named the Allwinner Octa A83T priced at just $79 (RM310).
