It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that dark mode is increasingly getting popular over the months, Instagram has it, so as WhatsApp and Facebook will have its own soon (third-party or lite version doesn't count). Now it seems that Android users will be getting dark mode too on some Google apps, which are the Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.

Sources claim that Google plans to permanently transition to 64-bit apps for Android devices, with the Android version of Chrome one of those that will be improved.

A few weeks ago, it was revealed that Facebook was working on dark mode for Android and iOS. That's not too surprising, considering that we got dark mode for the desktop version in early May, so the mobile version was just a matter of time. Now, sources are claiming that Facebook has already begun testing dark mode for mobile.
