Apple has tweaked how AirDrop functions on the iPhone, whereby users now only have the option to toggle AirDrop sharing with ‘Everyone’ for 10 minutes. Previously, the toggle allows you to always keep AirDrop on, thus allowing anyone nearby to share files with you.

Apple has announced the most comprehensive upgrade to its App Store pricing system, which provides developers worldwide with 700 additional price points and new pricing tools. In Malaysia, App Store developers can now charge a minimum of 90 sen and up to a maximum of RM49,999.

Previously, we reported that Apple paused the production line for the iPhone 14 Plus to reevaluate the demand for the device, which has been rather disappointing. Now, it looks like the demand for the iPhone 14 Plus is continuing to lag, to the point that panel shipments for the device are expected to be ‘close to zero’ next month.

Following years of users’ requests, Apple finally introduced the Always On Display feature on the iPhone 14 Pro series. However, its current implementation leaves a lot to be desired, with many users complaining about battery drain issues and that the Always-On Display looks too similar to when the iPhone is active.

Well, based on the latest iOS 16.2 beta version, it looks like the Always-On Display feature will improve in the next iOS update. In the aforementioned beta version, Apple added new options to the feature, giving users the choice of whether to show wallpaper and notifications when Always-On Display is activated.

However, it looks like Apple may need to iron out the feature a bit more as many users are reporting that their iPhone 14 series are triggering crash detection while on a roller coaster ride.

Love it or hate it, the Dynamic Island feature on the iPhone 14 Pro series has been the talk of the tech world recently. However, the current implementation of the interactive island over the device’s pill-shaped display cutout may soon change in iOS 16.1 as Apple recently added a grey border around the Dynamic Island in the latest version of the iOS beta.

It seems that the iPhone 14 series is not as popular as Apple has hoped for it to be, whereby it is allegedly lower than the tech giant’s anticipated demand projection. So much so, that Apple has now reportedly abandoned its plans to increase production levels of its new flagship smartphone series.

During the unveiling of the iPhone 14 Pro series at its Far Out event, Apple lauded the series’ Super Retina XDR display as the “most advanced display ever in a smartphone”. A pretty bold claim, but it may be warranted by Apple given how the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s display recently won the DisplayMate Best Smartphone Display Award with an A+ Display Performance grade.

Despite a few notable bugs at launch, it looks like iOS 16 is a hit with iPhone users as more users are adopting the new OS compared to iOS 15 last year. This is according to data from analytics company Mixpanel, whereby some 9 days after the release of iOS 16, it has already been installed in 23.26 per cent of iPhones.

Owners of the new Apple iPhone 14 Pro lineup are reporting some weird bugs when using the device’s cameras with third-party apps. These include camera shakes and grinding noises when using the camera on apps such as TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram.
