    Apple has announced the most comprehensive upgrade to its App Store pricing system, which provides developers worldwide with 700 additional price points and new pricing tools. In Malaysia, App Store developers can now charge a minimum of 90 sen and up to a maximum of RM49,999.

  • Previously, we reported that Apple paused the production line for the iPhone 14 Plus to reevaluate the demand for the device, which has been rather disappointing. Now, it looks like the demand for the iPhone 14 Plus is continuing to lag, to the point that panel shipments for the device are expected to be ‘close to zero’ next month.

  • Following years of users’ requests, Apple finally introduced the Always On Display feature on the iPhone 14 Pro series. However, its current implementation leaves a lot to be desired, with many users complaining about battery drain issues and that the Always-On Display looks too similar to when the iPhone is active.

    Well, based on the latest iOS 16.2 beta version, it looks like the Always-On Display feature will improve in the next iOS update. In the aforementioned beta version, Apple added new options to the feature, giving users the choice of whether to show wallpaper and notifications when Always-On Display is activated.

  • One of the new features found on the iPhone 14 series is crash detection, whereby the smartphone will automatically call emergency services should it detect you being in a car accident. However, it looks like Apple may need to iron out the feature a bit more as many users are reporting that their iPhone 14 series are triggering crash detection while on a roller coaster ride.

  • During the unveiling of the iPhone 14 Pro series at its Far Out event, Apple lauded the series’ Super Retina XDR display as the “most advanced display ever in a smartphone”. A pretty bold claim, but it may be warranted by Apple given how the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s display recently won the DisplayMate Best Smartphone Display Award with an A+ Display Performance grade.
