According to a source, Apple could be phasing out the iPad mini and replace it with a much larger iPhone. Other than featuring a large display, the device is also claimed to have stylus-support. For now, it is suggested to be a folding iPhone that everyone is waiting for.

Based on a statement by IHS Markit analyst Jeff Lin, Apple could be planning to manufacture a 12-inch foldable iPad and it is expected to be launched around the year 2020. In addition to the foldability, the rumoured iPad is expected to come equipped with 5G-network capabilities as well as Apple Pencil support.

Apple did not waste any time by introducing new updates and features on the upcoming iOS 13 in the WWDC 19 event. The Apple Pencil is currently an iPad Pro-only device, so the desktop Apple products can’t take advantage of the flexibility and creative options that is available with the Pencil. Now however we may just see something for the desktop in the near future, as Apple as just patented a Pencil-like device, but for the desktop.

The folks from iFixit are at it again, last week they tore down the Apple Pencil stylus open and now the Apple Smart Keyboard. How well did it go? Well, they aren’t impossible to be opened. But repairability wise, not so good.
