iOS 7 Beta Released, Supports iPad

As promised when it was announced recently, the Apple iOS 7 beta 2 is now available to download for developers. Aside from the features announced previously, the new beta enables support for the Apple iPad and iPad mini along with Siri's decidedly better voices and other enhancements. Apart from this not much more has changed except for perhaps a combined iTunes and App Store settings menu, working Voicemail and better UI enhancements. The full version is expected to be released along with the next generation of iOS devices (Apple iPhone 5S, iPad 5, etc.) which may be due in Q3 of 2013.

Rumours: iOS 7 Going for Flatter Black and White User Interface?

Rumours about what Apple is going to do extend even to their upcoming iOS 7 operating system, with many wondering what Apple have up their sleeves this time. With the impending Worldwide Developer Conference this 10 June 2013, we may not have to wait that long, but rumours about iOS 7, the next big version of Apple's mobile operating system are practically buzzing. While quite a few rumours indicate that iOS7 is going for a flatter look, a new bit of information is that the user interface or UI may be going for more black and white elements.

Rumours: Apple iPad 5 Casing Mold Confirm Narrower Design

Some casing molds for the Apple iPad 5 have cropped up and look to confirm earlier rumours that the Apple iPad 5 will have a narrower, smaller bezel design much like the Apple iPad mini. due to the curvature of the casing mold it also confirms that the Apple iPad 5 will also be thinner and therefore probably lighter than previous iPad versions.

Rumour: How Apple may make the iPad 5 Thinner and Lighter

Recent rumours and leaks have shown that Apple's next iPad 5 may be going for a thinner and lighter look and feel. This may have been confirmed with last week's news about the narrower front panel bezel but it didn't really explain how Apple would make the iPad 5 thinner and lighter than the already quite thin and light Apple iPad 4. One rumour circling about today is that they will be using screens that use smaller LEDS.

Apple iPad 5 Front Panel Leaks Confirm New Narrower Look?

In our previous Apple iPad 5 rumour we mentioned that the fifth generation iPad could be going for a narrower look and feel with a thinner and lighter chassis. These new leaked pictures of a tablet's front panel seem to confirm this.

Apple iPad 5 Rumours: Thinner, lighter and due after July?

Rumours about Apple's fifth generation iPad or iPad 5 are also growing with many saying that there may be a change in design. While the 9.7" screen size or Retina (2048 x 1536 pixel resolution) display may not change, the screen for the new iPad 5 may become a bit narrower than the almost square Apple iPad of today. This new design is said to follow that of the iPad Mini more than the traditional iPad design.

  • Apple iPad 4 with Retina Display Malaysia Review

Apple iPad 4 with Retina Display Malaysia Review

iPad 4 with Retina Display Pros:

Well, the first and most obvious highlight on the new iPad 4 is the Retina Display. It's the one element that never failed to impress us no matter what application was running on the screen. It's clear, it's bright, it's crisp; essentially it properly expands the smartphone experience onto a larger tablet and takes us into a new generation of displays.

We're also fans of the design of the new iPad - and yes, we know it's the same as before. We're not happy about the fact it's heavier than the iPad 2, but the build quality is something most other manufacturers long for, and are constantly trying to ape.

And then there's the user interface - another element that polarises opinion. We appreciate the power that can be had from widgets, there's something about the simplicity of the iOS UI that we just love - and simplicity counts for a huge amount in the burgeoning tablet market. Sure, it's ageing, but it works better on a tablet than on a smartphone.

  • Apple iPad 5 Price in Malaysia & Specs

Apple iPad 5 Malaysia Release Date & Specs (Rumors):

I must say that the release of both iPad Mini and iPad 4 was a surprise for me. Everyone was expecting the new iPad mini but not really an iPad 4. Why? Because the the previous generation was only in stores for 6 months before Apple decided to make an new generation ipad and scrap the older one. Will this also be the case of the new iPad 5?
