It seems that a bunch of tech specs, as well as the colour for the iPhone 12 series, has been leaked by a Weibo user, detailing what to expect when the smartphone is officially unveiled in the near future. Based on an online survey posted on sellcell.com, it seems that 3 out of 10 Android smartphone users would be keen on switching over to the Apple iPhone 12 series. But that’s not all, based on the response, it seems that the iPhone 12 Mini is the most popular choice at 48.1% while the iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Pro, as well as the iPhone 12 Max, were considered by 22.9%, 18.1%, and 10.9% of the respondents respectively.

When we were sleeping last night, Apple has finally announced the date for their highly-anticipated event where they're going to launch the iPhone 12 series. The event is scheduled to go live on 14 October at 1 AM Malaysia time. Before the event, we've received the latest rumour saying that the entire lineup (not sure if the Pro ones are included) will have a side fingerprint scanner.

Based on a statement by @DSCCRoss, there could be a huge possibility that the iPhone 13 series could come equipped with a triple rear camera, as well as up to a 6.7-inch 120Hz ProMotion display. But that’s not all, it seems that the series might adopt the Time-of-Flight sensors instead of infrared facial recognition sensor at the front.

Based on a statement by Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, there could be a possibility that all of Apple’s iPhone 12 series smartphones might not come equipped with 120Hz display. This is most likely due to the fact that a 120Hz refresh rate display, has been known to drastically drain a smartphone’s battery life.

It seems that Apple fans who have been eagerly waiting for the iPhone 12 series may, unfortunately, have to wait a bit longer this year. The bad news first broke yesterday when Qualcomm hinted that Apple's new smartphones could be delayed until Q4 2020. Now, this has been officially confirmed by Apple.
