Already the undisputed king for smartphone video recording despite no 8K video recording, the iPhone 15 Pro Max now takes the #2 spot below the Huawei P60 Pro.

Just after its global release yesterday, the HONOR Magic5 Pro is now number 1 on camera-centric site DXOMARK's smartphones camera ranking with a score of 152. This places it above the Huawei Mate 50 Pro which is 149, with top scores in Bokeh, Photo and Zoom but perhaps not so good in video which is currently held by the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max.

During the unveiling of the iPhone 14 Pro series at its Far Out event, Apple lauded the series’ Super Retina XDR display as the “most advanced display ever in a smartphone”. A pretty bold claim, but it may be warranted by Apple given how the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s display recently won the DisplayMate Best Smartphone Display Award with an A+ Display Performance grade.
