Enthusiastic Apple fans probably know this already, but for those who were enjoying the long weekend and missed it, there was supposedly a dummy iPhone 8 model picture running around the Internet leaked by a Foxconn employee.

The folks at TechRax did a drop test for all of the Apple iPhone smartphones. This included a side drop and front facing drop for each iPhone onto a hard driveway, revealing that while most of the iPhones can take a beating from the side, nearly all of them smashed from the front. Granted, the front of the Apple iPhone 3G did not shatter but this was mainly due to luck as it dropped on the side first. While it doesn't seem to show any difference from beginning to end, it does show that if you're going to get any Apple iPhone, the first thing you should do is get a shock-proof casing around it quick because an accidental front drop will probably result in a shattered screen. The first thing you'll notice when holding the iPhone 4 is just how incredible the build quality is. It feel incredibly pleasing in the hand and actually, make the 3GS feel, well, a bit chubby and cheap. The front and back are black glass with a brushed steel band running round the phone.

It’s been awhile since the iPhone 3GS was released and at the time many people thought that it was somewhat of a low-key upgrade from the iPhone 3G, certainly it was more of an evolution than a revolution.
iPhone 3GS - Improved Performance:
Everything that runs on the iPhone 3GS can run on the iPhone 3G, but the 3GS is significantly faster. I was skeptical when Apple decided to concentrate on speed rather than introduce new features to the previous iPhone.
When looking at the specs, the CPU in the 3GS is clocked at 600MHz, compared to 400MHz on the previous generation. As well as this, you’ll be getting 256MB RAM compared to 128MB in the 3G. When you’re using the 3GS it feels a lot more responsive, and the speed at which applications load is staggeringly quick compared to what you’d get on the older generation.[ Read More ] -
