CelcomDigi today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with South Korea’s SK Telecom to explore and develop Malaysia’s first operator-led mobile Metaverse platform. The MoU was signed at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona by Celcom Digi CEO Datuk Idham Nawawi and SK Telecom CEO Young-sang Ryu.

CelcomDigi today announced that it is extending its free 5G trial access for eligible Celcom customers until 30 April 2023. The trial is currently available to its Celcom MEGA Postpaid, Xpax Postpaid and Xpax Prepaid customers.

The Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) today officially launched the PAKEJ PERPADUAN prepaid mobile internet plan. First announced in December last year, the package is available from now until 31 December 2023 and offers 30GB of data at 3Mbps speed, with a validity period of 180 days for just RM30.

CelcomDigi today announced its first monthly online promotion which offers a range of exclusive offers across its Postpaid, Prepaid and Devices. Called the ‘2.2 Sale’, the offer expands to both Celcom and Digi users.

It looks like CelcomDigi or MBSB Bank may soon offer smart banking solutions across their platforms as they recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). According to them, CelcomDigi and MBSB Bank will explore opportunities in end-to-end smart banking solutions including services for cyber security, smart retail solutions financing, and cloud infrastructure technology.

Today, CelcomDigi announced that all Celcom and Digi customers can now apply and enjoy 5G roaming overseas. Supported in a total of 38 countries, also includes Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, China and others as long as the customers subscribe to both Celcom and Digi Roaming Passes.
