News & Reviews:   Digital Motor Vehicle License

The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has announced that 2.971 million users have downloaded and registered the MyJPJ app since its introduction on 10 February 2023. This is following the implementation of the Digital Motor Vehicle License and Digital Private Malaysian Driving by the Transport Ministry (MOT).

Just last Friday, the Malaysian Government launched and implemented Digital Motor Vehicle License (e-LKM) and Digital Private Malaysian Driving License (e-LLM) via the MyJPJ app and JPJ Public Portal platform. Many Malaysians had since then voiced their opinions on the app, as well as some jokes about having a flat battery on the phone if the police asked for a digital license. 

Today, our Transport Minister, Anthony Loke announced that Malaysian drivers no longer need to display a road tax sticker on their vehicles anymore. This is due to the implementation of the Digital Motor Vehicle License and Digital Private Malaysian Driving License starting today.
