As of 2020, iPay88 (M) Sdn Bhd recorded an impressive 4.1 million e-wallet transactions. Compared with 2019, the growth is six times more than before and this due to the pandemic period. So to continue serving the growing online community better, iPay88 has partnered with Shopee and ShopeePay will be part of iPay88 from now onwards. 

Based on Grab Singapore’s official website, it seems that Grab has officially started allowing users to transfer funds in their GrabPay wallet to their bank account. But that’s not all, it seems that it also allows Grab users to transfer funds to other e-wallets as well with no additional minimum transfer and no transaction fees.

Today, Astro just posted a new noticed about the payment of bills. Starting from January 2021 onwards, there will be an additional charging of RM0.50 but this is due to using third-party platforms (Astro doesn't collect any of this). So this just came in - according to sources, Finance Minister, Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz has decided to increase the eWallet allowance of RM50 to RM100. 1.1 million Malaysian students are now eligible and Bernama also confirmed this news just a while ago on their Twitter page.

Malaysians aged between 18 and 20 years old, will be eligible for an RM50 e-wallet credit in order to promote cashless transactions. While not much is known in regards to which exact platform will be giving out the aforementioned credit, we do know that it will most likely be platforms such as Grab, Touch ‘n Go eWallet, Boost, and potentially more.

For those of you who use the Setel app, this could be good news for you. The app is now officially available for use at over 800 Kedai Mesra stores across the country. This means that it's now a viable payment option at the store, allowing you to pay for items without needing to bring cash.

In a collaboration between Touch ‘n Go eWallet and McDonalds, get RM5 cashback when you pay for your meals at McDonald’s via the Touch ‘n Go eWallet from 2 November until 31 December 2020. However, it is best to note that each user is entitled to 1 cashback throughout the duration of the campaign.

If you have yet to spend your RM50 ePenjana credit, use it all before the end of 30 September 2020 because it will expire at the end of the day. Not only that, but vouchers from Grab, Touch n’ Go eWallet, and Lazada may expire on the same day as well, so act fast before they disappear!

Just in case you forgot, Setel app is Malaysia’s first e-payment that allows consumers to pay for refuelling directly from the app that is own by PETRONAS. Now there are new services that can offer convenience to the consumers which are Deliver2Me and Setel Wallet.
