Instagram has officially announced on their Twitter account that the Remix feature for Instagram Reels will now be rolled out to the masses starting from today onwards. For those who are not familiar with the Remix feature, it essentially allows users to take existing reels and add their own twist to them such as adding a reaction or a response.

A report by gizmodo seems to hints that Facebook will be releasing a feature that allows users to specify who can comment on their public post in the near future. In order to specify who can comment, all you need to do is to tag the account or page in the post.

Do you know the joke about sharks biting undersea cables? Obviously, they're not always the culprit, but cable faults happen every year and they can be disruptive to our region. Now, Facebook and Google plan to alleviate the issue by building more cables.

Based on a tweet by Twitter user @alex193a, it seems that Facebook is currently working on Live Audio and Audio rooms which could be Facebook’s answer to Clubhouse. With that in mind, it may soon be possible for users to host their own private audio rooms similar to Clubhouse in the near future.

Today, Malaysians everywhere can now enjoy using Reels on their Instagram accounts. Reels is a new function that lets users create and edit short clips with actual audio and music, this includes a catalogue of international and local songs in any clips they create and share. 

It seems that a tweet by @WABetaInfo revealed that WhatsApp could be working on allowing users to alter the playback speed on voice messages in the near future. While not much is known in regards to when the feature will be publicly available, it does give us a better idea of what to expect when it is officially available.

An Instagram for kids? Yup, at least that's the idea for now according to Instagram Vice President, Vishal Shah. The company is planning to develop an app version for those who are under the age of 13 and it's now on the priority list. In case you didn't know, the current app version doesn't allow children under the age of 13 to use it.

OnePlus Malaysia has officially announced that they will be hosting the ‘Sembang-lah! OnePlus’ talk show, which will be held on 18 March 2021 from 12PM onwards. The talk show will be broadcasted on platforms such as OnePlus Malaysia’s official social media accounts, as well as on OnePlus’ official Flagship store on Lazada.

Based on a tweet by Twitter user @MattNavarra, it seems that Instagram plans on rolling out a feature that allow users to insert automated captions on their Insta-stories. In order to enable it, simply take an Insta-story, then apply the new sticker called CC caption which will automatically transcribe the audio and display it onto your story.
