According to Youtuber Jon Prosser, the upcoming Google Pixel 4 may not come with any physical buttons but instead be replaced with capacitive touch buttons, similar to vivo’s concept phone, the vivo APEX 2019. In addition, the Pixel 4 may also ditch the notch and opt for a punch hole display similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10+.

Many loved the Google Pixel 3 with its amazing camera capabilities and performance but the price tag was a little too steep for many. Now the company has unveiled their much awaited budget smartphones, the Google Pixel 3a and the Google Pixel 3a XL priced at USD$399 (~RM1655) for the former and USD$479 (~RM1987) for the latter.

DxOMark has recently announced that from 22 January 2019 onwards, they will start benchmarking the front-facing selfie cameras which are found on modern day smartphones using similar testing procedures and methodologies that were used to test the rear primary cameras.

Google have officially announced their Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones for $799 (~RM3317) and $899 (~RM3733) respectively. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 4GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB storage (no expandable memory), a rear fingerprint sensor, 12.2MP OIS rear camera, and dual 8MP front cameras (wide angle + PDAF) the Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch 1080 x 2160 pixel display while the Pixel 3 XL goes for a 6.3-inch 1440 x 2960 pixel display with a notch, both with Gorilla Glass 5.

Aside from Samsung, Apple and Huawei's annual big announcements in the third quarter of the year, Google has some exciting news to share too. Obviously, the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are coming soon but so is the Android 9.0 P and according to Evan Blass Twitter feed, 20 August 2018 is the date that's gonna roll out the new OS, supposedly.

So there are still three more flagships that we are still waiting, each coming from Samsung, Apple and Huawei, there is still one more device that hasn't pick up the hype train yet and that'd be the Google Pixel 3 series. Scheduled for October release, there have not been many rumours until now which shows a white and black Pixel 3 XL model, as well as some new speculated specifications.

Based on a statement made by Evan Blass on his Twitter account, there may be a chance we could see Google releasing their take on smartwatches with the Google Pixel Watch. Not only that, there were several evidence to back up Evan’s claim on the upcoming smartwatch such as Google developing 3 WearOS watches codenamed Ling, Triton and Sardine and all of them are equipped with the Snapdragon Wear 3100 which brings significant boost in battery performance.
