What? Crash Bandicoot is on mobile? Yes, you'd be surprised to learn that there's actually a Crash Bandicoot Mobile game app. What's more, it's currently only available on the Google Play Store in Malaysia! Sources say that it's likely a beta test before the mobile game rolls out and we tried it out ourselves to see what is it about.

Towards the end of 2019, it was announced that Riot Games were developing a League of Legends (LoL) mobile game. If you missed that, it will be called League of Legends: Wild Rift and our writers have spotted the pre-registration is now live on the Google Play Store. Such exciting times!

Finally, after a super long overdue - Fortnite has officially made its way to the Google Play Store. Prior to that, mobile gamers needed to go to the Epic Games website and download the APK installer, third-party platforms, or even some "exclusives" such as Samsung Galaxy and HONOR smartphones. Well, looks like fans can have a breather now.

Yesterday, we talked about Facebook releasing their own mobile gaming app releasing today and it is now live. However, it's only available on the Google Play Store now and has yet to appear in the Apple App Store. Promptly named Facebook Gaming, it functions the same way as the desktop version allowing you to stream your games or play with your friends and family together.

The problem with Android apps is that they can sometimes be geo-locked. For instance, some apps may not be available in the Malaysian Google Play Store. When that is the case, users have to turn to third-party to download the apps they want. But these third-party stores are not very secured since one of them was recently hacked.

Have you been itching for a new coop game to play during the movement control order (MCO)? Well, you could try out Dead by Daylight Mobile, the coop survival horror game that has now been ported to mobile phones. Publisher NetEase promised that the game would be available in Southeast Asia in Spring 2020 and it has finally been released on the Google Play Store.

Update - Maintenance is over, game servers are now live!

Just last night, we received a pop-up notification that the long-awaited ROCKMAN X DiVE mobile game app has officially launched! Although it can be downloaded on the Apple App and Google Play Store, it seems that the game app is on maintenance mode until 12PM due to the overwhelming number of pre-registered players (over 500,000, in fact).  

Yesterday, we reported on Google has deleted all the apps of the AnTuTu benchmarking platform from Google Play Store due to repeated policy violations by its parent company Cheetah Mobile. But today, Antutu has clarified the company is not related to Cheetah Mobile.

For those of you who are familiar with our smartphone reviews, you'll notice we typically use Antutu Benchmark as one of our aggregate benchmark tests. It's an app meant to find out how well a device's chipset handles a variety of different smartphone use cases. But guess what? The app has disappeared from the Google Play Store.

Huawei is rapidly catching up with its AppGallery as it is now the third-largest app store in the world. With over 400 million monthly active users in the platform, the company is now eager to attract more developers and apps by giving up to 90% of revenue-sharing to the developers.
