From today's news, we learn that Android 9 is pre-installed on the HONOR 9X with complete Google apps in Europe! That caught everyone off guard! Since the Google services issues started with Huawei, the company’s latest devices will no longer come with the Google services that includes the sub-company brand HONOR. So how did the HONOR 9X got away with it?

HONOR has recently given us a heads-up, stating that their upcoming HONOR 9X smartphone will soon be unveiled in Malaysia very soon. In addition to that, HONOR also mentioned that they will be having the “HONOR Club Early Access Programme” where two lucky HONOR fans will receive the HONOR 9X for a duration before the launch so that they can have a closer look.

HONOR 9X is coming to Malaysia very soon and HONOR is inviting fans to be part of the HONOR Club Early Access Program! Those who got into the program will have the chance to be the first to test, experience and parade the new X series.

While you guys were out and about today, 2 much anticipated smartphones were launched in China. One of them being the ASUS ROG Phone 2 and the second one being the HONOR 9X series. Both phones managed to wow us with reasonable tech specs and impressive features and we're wondering which one we liked better.

The HONOR 9X and HONOR 9X Pro will be launched tomorrow and already full tech specs of the device has appeared online. The two phones made their way to TENAA, the Chinese Regulatory website with their complete spec sheet. Also appearing on the site is the Huawei Mate 30 Lite. 

The HONOR 9X will be launched on the 23rd of July in China and may be released in 2 variants whch includes the HONOR 9X Pro. Both variants of the device has been teased to feature Huawei’s brand new HiSilicon Kirin 810 chipset. What makes the Pro version of the smartphone more appealing over the vanilla version is definitely the triple rear camera setup.

We’re only a week away from the HONOR 9X launch. Ahead of that, the company had revealed the device’s rear design in a poster on Weibo and we’re kind of impressed. Similar to the HONOR View20 with the multiple V’s, the 9X features a huge X on the back with V’s moving from the top and bottom, meeting in the middle.

The HONOR Band 5 has been confirmed to feature a blood oxygen monitor thanks to HONOR president, George Zhao. He shared this information over on Weibo. The design looks similar to the HONOR Band 4 but the display seems to be an AMOLED display with some crisp colours and a circular button at the bottom.

Based on HONOR’s Weibo account, the HONOR 9X series is expected to be unveiled on 23 July 2019 in China. Based on what we know, the aforementioned smartphone has been confirmed to come with Huawei’s brand new HiSilicon Kirin 810 chipset that uses the 7nm manufacturing process, which makes it not only fast but also more efficient.
