News & Reviews:   Huawei MatePad 10.4 specs

HUAWEI Malaysia today released the HUAWEI MatePad 10.4 alongside several other products during its Smart Office Launch event. Supporting a rich ecosystem with multiple smart features, the device is aimed at being a productivity and educational companion for consumers.

It seems large tablets are in demand these days, as we're seeing a few companies making them. For instance, there's the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series launched last week. On the Huawei side, the company is also gearing up to release a 10.4-inch tablet.

Besides the upcoming Huawei MateStation S PC, Huawei Malaysia also just announced the MatePad 10.4 for just RM1499. Coming in Midnight Grey, the tablet will be available soon from 16 March 2021 at midnight tonight according to the website. 

Two weeks ago, the tech specs and expected price of the Huawei MatePad 10.4 were being leaked online, but the official launch date was nowhere to be found. With the price expected to start from RMB1799 (~RM1011), it sounds like the MatePad 10.4 is going to be in the budget range offered by Huawei from its tablet line. Today, it has been announced that the Huawei MatePad 10.4 will be meeting the world on 23rd April, the same date with the launch of Nova 7 series.

Based on a bunch of leaked info by a user on weibo, it seems that Huawei will be releasing the Huawei MatePad 10.4 for the price of RMB1799(~RM1101) somewhere in the near future. While not much is known in regards to the availability date of the aforementioned tablet, there could be a possibility that it could be available somewhere around the year 2020.
