The HONOR 9X is the latest offering from Huawei’s youthful sub-brand HONOR in its mid-range X lineup. A sequel to the well-received HONOR 8X which sold well over 15 million units worldwide and became the most successful Honor smartphone to date, the 9X has large shoes to fill in for the mid-range category. With prices starting from RM999, could this be your best midranger you can buy without breaking the bank?

It seems that HONOR Malaysia is not running out of their promo sales over the past few weeks. Well, that's not a bad thing, right? So with just half a month left until Merdeka, fans and consumers can look forward to the company's Double Celebration promo sales with over RM620,000 worth of giveaways.

In continuing its recent Rileks, Beli Je campaign, HONOR Malaysia has just announced some new price tags on three smartphones. Promoting the HONOR View20, 8X and the 8C, the new price has gone as low as RM549 and even the high-end variant is below RM2K.

HONOR has announced the arrival of the much anticipated HONOR 20 Pro but were extremely secretive about its release date. The smartphone, scoring 111 and taking second place on DxOMark, features a quad camera setup with 48MP (Sony IMX 586) + 16MP (Super Wide-Angle lens) + 8MP (Depth Assist sensor) + 2MP (Macro lens) sensors and the Kirin 980 chipset. 

The HONOR Band 5 has been confirmed to feature a blood oxygen monitor thanks to HONOR president, George Zhao. He shared this information over on Weibo. The design looks similar to the HONOR Band 4 but the display seems to be an AMOLED display with some crisp colours and a circular button at the bottom.

With HONOR 20 releasing in Malaysia for a couple of days now, HONOR Malaysia is also announcing some new OS updates for its smartphone lineup which include EMUI 9.1 and Magic UI 2.1. The Magic UI 2.1 is only for the HONOR View20, though, while EMUI 9.1 will be coming out on nine HONOR devices. 

HONOR Malaysia recently announced that they’ll be throwing a sales party for their fans in conjunction with their 5th Anniversary in Malaysia. Beginning from 21 June 2019 to 31 July 2019, the sales party will cover the HONOR View20, 20 Lite, 8X, 10 Lite, 8c, 7s and more. The biggest discount for walk-in customers appears to be for the View20 going from RM2499 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version to RM1999 for up to RM500 in savings along with a free selfie stick and HONOR backpack.

Back when I posted the HONOR 20 Lite review, I thought it was a pretty nice budget-friendly smartphone but let's be honest, the price alone is not enough to justify purchasing it. However, when the HONOR 20 series made their debut in London, I took it out for a spin and clearly, this is a much better variant by a mile. Ladies and gents, this is our review of the HONOR 20.
