Malaysian Arsenal fans who have purchased the Huawei Ascend P7 Arsenal Edition smartphone recently could win a trip to watch the Gunners LIVE in the UK in a new contest organized by Huawei Malaysia. The contest is fairly simple to do; just buy a new Ascend P7 Arsenal Edition smartphone and register for the contest, answer 2 simple questions and then complete a slogan. Those who want to enter can do so via the Huawei Malaysia Facebook Page and you can also find out the where-to-buy shop list there as well. There will be 3x grand prizes consisting of the trip to watch Arsenal LIVE in the UK along with other prizes that include the Huawei MediaPad X1, official Arsenal jerseys, Huawei Powerbanks and travel bags. The contest is currently valid until 31 December 2014.

Huawei Malaysia have recently brought in their Huawei Ascend P7 Arsenal Edition smartphone for all the Arsenal fans in Malaysia. On top of FIFA 14, various Arsenal content and themes pre-loaded inside a Huawei Ascend P7, the Huawei Ascend P7 Arsenal Edition will also come with a free Talkband B1 smartband and Arsenal branding on the back cover at just RM1799. The rumoured Huawei Ascend P7 smartphone with a sapphire crystal display has finally been confirmed ahead of IFA 2014. Like the previous Arsenal Edition, the sapphire crystal covered version will be called the Huawei Ascend P7 Sapphire Edition. Tech specs and features are expected to be more or less the same as the Huawei Ascend P7 and this includes 4G LTE, a 13MP rear camera and 1.8 GHz quad-core HiSilicon Kirin 910T processor. No news yet if the sapphire crystal display will make the 6.5mm thin smartphone thicker but we assume that it will make it heavier than the super-light 124g of the original device. This is because while sapphire crystal is tougher it is also heavier than glass. No news on Malaysia release dates or pricing but we expect the Sapphire Edition to cost a bit more than the normal version. Huawei has released a version of their current flagship the Huawei Ascend P7 with the Huawei Ascend P7 Arsenal Edition smartphone. Designed for the Arsenal fan, the "new" smartphone has the Arsenal logo on the back along with an Arsenal based theme and content pre-loaded. Tech specs and features for this Arsenal Edition remain the same though with a 1.8GHz quad-core Kirin 910T processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 5-inch full HD display, 4G LTE, 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
