Based on a statement by androidheadlines.com it seems that future Huawei smartphone could come equipped with a rather large lens at the rear which could drastically improve the picture quality of the pictures taken. Even though the patent showed pictures of how the lens could potentially look like, there is still no official information on the exact tech spec of the camera system for now.

Based on a statement by a user on weibo, it seems that the upcoming Huawei Mate 40 series might not come equipped with an in-display selfie camera after all. With that said, there is no news on which smartphone will be the first to be the first commercially available smartphone to have the aforementioned camera.

Based on an image posted by @DSCCRoss in reply to @UniverseIce on Twitter, it seems that the Huawei Mate 40 will most likely come with a 120Hz display. While not much is known in regards to the tech specs of the device, we do know that it will most likely come equipped with a 5nm process chipset and a 9P Freeform lens technology.

A few weeks ago, it was suggested that the device could come with a Kirin 1020 chipset. But the latest rumour claims that it'll be equipped with the Kirin 1000 chipset instead.

While not much has been confirmed in regards to the exact performance specs of the aforementioned chipset, the source has mentioned that it might perform up to 50% faster compared to the Kirin 990.
