For those who don’t know yet, Huawei’s own OS based on Android, EMUI 5.0 is now available on five more Huawei devices. The devices are the Huawei P9, P9 Plus , P9 Lite ,  Mate 8 and Nova Plus.  Updates can be found via settings and downloaded Over-the-Air (OTA) now.

With the recent release of the Huawei Mate 9 in Malaysia, we know it comes with the latest EMUI 5.0 OS which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. As previously reported, there was a speculation about the honor 8 releasing on 5 July 2016. There was also just one teaser, which didn't really say much except "Beauty Out of the Ordinary", however that can be cleared up now since Huawei Honor’s President of Business, Zhao George revealed the official launch date which is 11 July 2016 on a new teaser. The launching is scheduled at 6.30pm at Shanghai Oriental Sports Center in China.
