Leakster Roland Quandt strikes again from WinFuture for the possible camera features of the upcoming triple rear camera Huawei P20 Pro. According to him, one of the sensors on the P20 Pro will be a 40MP sensor which works with an 8MP telephoto sensor to deliver a sort of 5x Hybrid Zoom. The other camera sensor is expected to be a 20MP monochrome sensor for clearer details.

With just a bit more than a week to go before the official unveiling, more leaked photos of the Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Lite and P20 Pro have appeared courtesy of @rquandt. Some new tech specs were also leaked with all the P20 series having notched displays expected to be FHD+ (2240 x 1080 pixels) resolution, equipped with Kirin 970 processors, dual SIM slots with no microSD, a 3400 mAh battery for the P20 and 4000 mAh battery for the P20 Pro.

Mar 11, 2018After images of the Huawei P20 Pro leaked via @evleaks, the triple rear camera setup and Leica Vario-Summilux-H1:1.6-2.4/27-80 ASPH lens were clearly visible. This likely means dual variable aperture cameras with F/1.6 and F/2.4 apertures along with a 27-80mm optical zoom with one of them being a monochrome sensor. Leaked press renders of the upcoming Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Lite and Huawei P20 Pro have appeared courtesy of leakster @evleaks. Possible European pricing from @rquandt indicate that the P20 could be 679,xx Euro (~RM3288), the P20 Lite at 369,xx Euro (~RM1787) and the P20 Pro at 899,xx Euro (~RM4354). No Malaysia release dates or pricing details for any of these and do take these leaks with a pinch of salt but both leaksters have been quite accurate.

Official Huawei P20 series teasers are spreading throughout the Internet right now, as we speak. Most of you already know that it will feature a triple camera setup and it's probably for the P20 Pro. It was only yesterday that we get a glimpse of the Huawei P20 and P20 Plus design, and you can sure bet that the design looks very similar to the iPhone X thanks to the top notch. However, Evan Blass, popular leakster just twitted that the P20 series might not have a triple camera setup as we thought, it will feature a pair of cameras instead.

After the confusion about whether to call Huawei's next and upcoming flagship smartphone the Huawei P11 or Huawei P20, Huawei themselves have outed a short video teaser confirming that yes, it will be the Huawei P20 after all. Not much else has been confirmed while the hints for the triple camera, AI-powered Kirin 970 processor and previous reveal date of 27 March 2018 in Paris remains the same. Check it out for yourself.

In a span of 5 weeks, Huawei UK utilized the built-in AI (Artificial Intelligence) on the Huawei Mate 10 Pro's Kirin 970 processor to allow the smartphone to basically drive a car and intelligently avoid obstacles like cats and dogs. You can see how it all went on below and while it does not show actual road driving (come on, they only had 5 weeks) it is a very big accomplishment, and we hope to see more such features coming for the upcoming Huawei P11 / P20.

As some of you already know, Huawei will be hosting a separate event in Paris, France on 27 March 2018 and will probably reveal three new P series smartphones to the public. Although we don't know if it will be called as P11 or P20, we are pretty sure that there will be three cameras on the back as seen on the invitation cover image above.
