News & Reviews:   Huawei Honor 7 Enhanced Edition

The front and back glass encased honor 8 has apparently appeared and been priced at online retailer oppomart. The oppomart listing reveals tech specs and a price tag of $399 (RM1592). Adding on 6% GST raises this to about RM1687 but this is by no means the confirmed Malaysia pricing.

Tech specs were more or less confirmed as below:

The honor 5X from Huawei’s value added honor branch looks to offer even more value with its shiny, full-metal body, fingerprint scanner enabled features and more for below RM1000. In fact, even the most premium gold coloured version is only going for just RM939 (officially) but is it just premium looks and a few upper-end features or does it really bring enough value to it’s price tag? While the honor 5X and honor 7 Enhanced Edition were both previously launched as well as priced in Malaysia, there was only a pre-order for the honor 5X with no release date for the honor 7 Enhanced. The folks at honor Malaysia have since cleared thad up announcing that the metal frame, fingerprint sensor equipped smartphones will be available tomorrow on 16 February 2016 at 12pm. 

The honor 5x still packs in an RM899 price tag for the grey and silver versions, while the gold coloured version is going for RM939. The honor 7 Enhanced Edition brings better tech specs like 32GB of storage and NFC over the honor 7 at RM1499. Deliveries for the honor 5X pre-order will be done on 19 February 2016, so you won't have to wait long.

The honor 7 Enhanced Edition was also announced alongside the honor 5X and honor Band Z1 yesterday. Featuring the same design as the honor 7, the honor 7 Enhanced offers a bit more in terms of storage with 32GB worth of internal memory. It also comes with a quick charging power adapter and a more premium looking metallic front bezel. Huawei have announced an enhanced version for the Huawei Honor 7 called the Huawei Honor 7 Enhanced Edition recently, and it will be packed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow inside right away with EMUI 4.0 and 3GB RAM. Currently available in China, the Honor 7 Enhanced Edition is priced at CNY1999 (RM1338.08) only and tech specs are also improved (most notably being the internal storage):-
