Huawei regained access to Qualcomm chips this year, even if it can only get 4G variants. For instance, the recently launched P50 series came with the Snapdragon 888 4G. Now, two more Huawei devices with Snapdragon chipsets are on the way.

HUAWEI could be taking small steps to free itself from the US trade ban as it's reported that the Chinese company could be allowed to purchase chips from the country again. However, the chips are not for smartphones but car parts such as video screens and sensors. Therefore, you might need to put the thought of the company gaining back its access to the Qualcomm chips or even Android on hold.

HONOR will soon launch its first premium flagship smartphone series after being sold off by HUAWEI. The Magic 3 series will be arriving on 12 August with many impressive tech specs like a penta-camera setup, under-display camera, 100W fast charging and more. For software, the latest report claims that the smartphone series could use Magic UI 5.0 based on HarmonyOS.

HUAWEI might be up to something more exciting than foldable smartphones. It is spotted that the company has filed a patent with World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO ) earlier this year for a rollable device. According to the patent, the device mainly uses magnets for the display to be extended.

A statement by LetsGoDigital seems to hint that Huawei could be one of the first to release a smartphone that’s equipped with the "best" implementation of an under-display camera.
