Facebook has officially announced that the “Why am I seeing this” feature, will be rolled out gradually on a global scale starting today which will provide users with various information as to why they are seeing certain posts on their News Feed directly from the app, as well as from their very own website. Not only that, but the new feature also provides various control options to help users customize their News Feed to their liking.

A shocking update has been added onto an article on Facebook’s Newsroom that was published 4 weeks ago. It mentions that millions of Instagram users’ passwords had been stored in a readable format for all of their employees to see.

Facebook-owned services such as WhatsApp, Instagram as well as Facebook themselves are currently experiencing technical difficulties causing them to be inaccessible for the time being. The outtage could potentially affect services other than the ones mentioned, so do take note.
