With the recent General Election 15 held in Malaysia, the public has been growing weary and starting to spread some insightful content on social media. It has gotten so bad that TikTok had to step in to do something about it. 

Previously, we reported that Meta is laying off more than 11,000 employees amidst a decline in revenue and now, more details have come out regarding the company’s workforce reduction. One of the more interesting detail that emerged from the whole situation is that Meta had an ongoing project to develop a smartwatch that would compete with the Apple Watch but the development has been scrapped as part of the company’s cost-cutting effort.

Meta-owned social media platform Facebook has announced that it is making it easier for users to customise what they see in their feeds. With the new update to the Facebook Feed, the company said that it aims to make content on the feed more relevant to each user.

If you're an Instagram content creator, here's some good news. In case you haven't heard, Instagram just got an upgrade to Stories. Previously, you could only upload clips of up to 15 seconds. But with the new update, creators can now upload videos 4 times the length.

Today, Meta announced that Instagram will have a new Sensitive Content Control function. As most of you should know, there are some "not-safe-for-work" images floating around on Instagram. With this, Sensitive Content Control has only two options for teens: “Standard” and “Less.”
