Last week, PDRM declared that e-scooters would no longer be allowed on the roads. But what vehicles would be considered micromobility vehicles or e-scooters? What kind of regulations can users expect? The Personal Electric Vehicle Association (PEV Malaysia) decided to meet with the authorities to find out.

Traffic accidents seem to be synonymous with the long trek back to hometowns and kampung so JPJ has set up a WhatsApp number (011-51115252) so you can report traffic offenses. While this is definitely useful for reporting those emergency lane drivers, do remember that any picture or video reported to the number should be done by a passenger and not the driver. Also, make sure you get a visible license plate if you want it to be effective.
