Hey TechNave gamers! While the gaming world was relatively quiet this week, a few interesting DLC’s were released that may keep us gamers pretty occupied until the next best game drops. ASUS ROG dropped the world’s thinnest and compact gaming laptop alongside a new range of ROG Ranger Backpacks and ROG Collection T-shirts which ends 2018 on a high note for the Taiwanese company.

Hey gamers! The Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales have just passed and I’m actually feeling my wallet to be a little lighter (or in case, empty, as I wait for my next paycheck to drop in). Oh well, I’m sure our tears would dry (temporarily) when our ordered packages come in or the intro scene of our just purchased games play on our screens. Unless you purchased Fallout 76. Then there’s no joy for you for sure. As for me, I’m just smiling (and tearing up a little) whenever I lay my eyes on the Nvidia RTX 2070 GPU I just purchased. #PCmasterrrace!

Hey gamers! Last weekend was pretty intense with the KL Major rocking the Dota2 scene in our country. As someone who has seen many tournaments in her life, its safe to say that the KL Major is definitely one of the best tournaments I’ve seen in Malaysia thus far.

Lenovo held their first 1v1 tournament at their Legion concept store in Digital Mall PJ with a total prize pool of up to RM10000 worth of Lenovo Legion products. There were over 60 local gamers that battled it out in the game title League Of Legends for the opportunity to be the Champion of the tournament.

Today, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) held their first ever eSports tournament - The ASUS ROG Champions Cup Finals featuring two finalists Missing in Action (MIA) and Raiding Squad (RS) in a best-of-five format competing each other in League of Legends, the hottest eSports game globally at the moment. At first, MIA lost their first game against RS but made a steady come back which eventually got them snatching the win (3-1 score) with several entertaining combat engagement and strategies. MIA walked away with a total prize pool of RM60000 with a ROG laptop each.
