After being in the rumour mills for a while, Lenovo finally launched the Lenovo Legion Y70 in China. Packing top-of-the-line specs, the highlight feature of the smartphone has got to be its 6.67-inch 144Hz flat AMOLED display.

Earlier, sources claimed that Lenovo's first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 smartphone, Legion Y70, will launch on 13 August. However, it turns out to be the wrong date, as the official announcement has arrived. The device is now scheduled to debut on 18 August, with some other tech specs confirmed.

Lenovo is refreshing its Legion gaming smartphone lineup with a device that packs the latest flagship chipset. The Legion Y70 is scheduled to show up on 13 August with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. It's also a device that looks like most standard smartphones on the market despite being gaming-centric.
