The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro is finally available for sale in Malaysia. Lenovo Malaysia is bundling the JBL E-40 Bluetooth Headphone with the device, all for a price tag of RM2299. Tech specs wise, the Z2 Pro is one of the best smartphones in the market. It comes with a 2.5Ghz Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB RAM. For storage, you get 32GB which unfortunately is non-expandable. On the front, there's a large 6 inch display with Quad HD 2K resolution. Even with a display of this size, the Z2 Pro measures just 156 x 81.3 x 7.7 mm, thanks to the thin bezels. However, at 179 grams it is a bit heavy due to its premium metal finish. On the back, there is a 16MP camera with OIS, autofocus and dual LED flash. The front camera measures 5MP which should be enough for everyday video calls and selfies. Lenovo has smartly embedded a 4000 mAh battery inside, which the company claims delivers up to 45 hours of talktime and 39 days of standby time. Lenovo ups the ante with their new officially announced Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro smartphone. The smartphone joins other higher-end flagship smartphones with a 6-inch display featuring a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, resulting in a pixel density of 490 ppi. Other notable tech specs and features include a 2.5GHZ Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, Android 4.4, 4G LTE connectivity, dual-SIM support, a 4000 mAh battery and a 16MP rear camera with BSI sensor, optical image stabilization and 4K video recording. Featuring very thin bezels, the Vibe Z2 Pro is only 7.7mm thin and looks to have a brushed metal unibody chassis in black, gold and titanium. Camera features include a low-light mode, manual mode and much more. Unfortunately, there are still no Malaysia release dates or pricing so stay tuned for more updates.

When you say flagship smartphone, the characteristics most people will think about is super thin with premium features and an equally premium price. While the Huawei Ascend P7 is certainly super thin at just 6.5mm and packs in a whole bunch of premium flagship-level features, it certainly isn't priced as one. Celcom have recently revealed plans to go with the Lenovo Vibe Z starting from RM988. Since the smartphone is 4G LTE capable the plans are likewise for LTE connectivity. To get this deal you have to sign up for either a Celcom First or mPro Plus postpaid plan. Featuring a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor the Lenovo Vibe Z retails at RM1799, making this a fairly good deal despite being a bit higher than the previous promo price. Having just covered the Lenovo Vibe Z we can understand what a performer it is but we balked a little at the still rather high pricing. However, Celcom are now teasing the Lenovo Vibe Z for just RM688, which is a much lower price point than the normal retail price of about RM1750. While there aren't any specific plan details, Celcom will offer the Lenovo Vibe Z starting from 16 March 2014 with the promo price of RM688 for every Celcom mPro or mPro Plus plan sign up. In addition, you'll also get an RM50 shopping voucher. Details of the launch are set at the Blue Cube, Sunway, Oasis Boulevard at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall. The launching is set at 15 march 2014 with the first 30 customers getting the promo price of RM688 for signing up with the Celcom mPro or mPro Plus plan. Lenovo Malaysia will soon launch their latest flagship smartphone, the Lenovo Vibe Z for Malaysian markets as soon as next week. The Lenovo Vibe Z or K910 is one of the few Lenovo devices to pack in a 2.2Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor which also allows for some fast 4G LTE connectivity. Other tech specs include 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage, a 5.5-inch display with IPS and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, a 13MP f1.8 rear camera and 5MP front camera. The smartphone weighs in at 147g and is just 7.9mm thin with a laser etched fabric feel backside for a more textured feel. It will come packing Android 4.3. So far, there isn't any Malaysia pricing just yet, but the international pricing is set at $549 (RM1791). At the Malaysia launch, the smartphone is expected to be revealed under various Celcom LTE plans and bundles so stay tuned for more information next week.
