Maxis recently announced that they have 60 Hotlink Malaysiamoji or animated Malaysia-themed GIF emojis such as ‘nasi lemak’, ‘OTW’, and ‘kaotim’. Introduced in the spirit of Merdeka and celebrating all that is unique about Malaysia these Hotlink Malaysiamoji will be available across all smartphones Facebook-wide starting from 31 August 2017, today.

Today, Maxis has announced something awesome to all Maxis subscribers in Malaysia. Any Maxis postpaid customers can now get paid RM30 cash when they sign up for a Maxis ShopBack account and make their first transaction from over 500 online stores on ShopBack by 17 September 2017!

Did you know? Maxis is having this community outreach programme called eKelas and they just did it last Sunday in Putrajaya. The eKelas Carnival on that day attracted more than 700 attendees, teaching them digital learning to every participant comprising of students and parents.

Today, Maxis has partnered with various premium brands, namely BMW, Citibank, Enrich by Malaysia Airlines, MINI and Sime Darby Property. This partnership is to reward MaxisONE Club members with exclusive rewards whenever they upgrade their smartphone, buy a new car, book a holiday, purchase a new home or even when they make a financial investment.

Just earlier this week, Maxis has concluded their 3G SIM Swap Campaign and gave away RM1 million to those who had participated. The campaign first started in May, resulting 30 Maxis and Hotlink combined awarded for upgrading their 3G SIM card to a 4G SIM card.

As most of you already heard, U Mobile will be terminating their network agreement with Maxis. It will take effect by the end of next year (2018) on December, reason being that the company wants to focus on expanding their own network instead piggybacking.
