Maybank has recently announced that activation of its secure verification feature Secure2U will be permanently moved from the M2U MY app to the MAE app. The bank said that this is part of its continuous effort to safeguard customers’ online banking security.

From now on, Maybank customers can download the monthly statements for their savings accounts right off the Maybank2U website. The bank announced the feature today, and only statements from July 2022 and above will be available for download.

As some of you already know, Maybank and Ambank have officially launched their Apple Pay service. But are there any other banks? Well, yes albeit only one at the moment which is Standard Chartered bank. 

Earlier today, AmBank published a web page revealing its support for Apple Pay. However, due to unknown reasons, it has been taken down. Until now, Maybank goes through the same thing by publishing a web page dedicated to the payment service and deleting it afterwards.

Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) has announced that it will be conducting a system maintenance exercise this Sunday, 19 June 2022 from 3am to 7am. Hence, a few of its services will be temporarily unavailable during that time.

Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) has warned its consumers to be wary when making online transactions as scammers are now utilising new and sophisticated scam tactics to trick them. These include creating fake apps, phishing sites and creating scam ads on social media.

Just recently, Alliance Bank made an announcement that the MyDebit Cash Out fee has been revised. Starting from 1 July 2022 onwards, the initial RM0.00 fee will become RM0.50 per cash-out transaction by every MyDebit cardholder.

Did Maybank just make withdrawing money from an ATM easier? The short answer is yes, and you don't need any ATM cards either to perform the task. As the title suggests, you can just use the MAE app on your phone to scan a QR code and voila, the money will come out.
