    A few weeks ago, reports emerged that the Tata Group in India had been the victim of a cyberattack with over 200,000 files believed to have been stolen. According to Reuters, the hacking group World Leaks has leaked the iPhone 18 circuit schematics, a complete list of components and component suppliers such as TSMC and Qualcomm. Also revealed are the battery and camera components used. This information is confidential because it reveals who Apple gets their supplies from.

    According to 9to5Google, Samsung will introduce a new naming scheme, splitting its flagship foldable into a standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 and a premium Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Both will debut at Galaxy Unpacked in London on 22 July 2026, with the Ultra rumoured to start at USD 1,999 (~RM8,850). Surprisingly, the standard model shifts to a wider 4:3 outer cover screen, making it look and feel like a traditional smartphone when closed.

    According to BERNAMA and Astro Awani, the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM) successfully detected and seized 72 server units containing advanced AI chips with an estimated value of around RM52.9 million, before they were re-exported to an unspecified Asian country. This shows that the AI chips were not for use here, but rather, Malaysia was only used as a temporary stopover.
