It seems that Machines recently posted a status on their official Facebook page, stating that that one of their employee that was working at the Mid Valley Megamall outlet has been tested positive for COVID-19. In addition to that, they also stated that the aforementioned employee did not show up for work since 8 October 2020 and informed Machines of his situation on 10 October 2020.

As the Movement Restriction begins tomorrow (18 March) until 31 March 2020, many businesses will be closing down temporarily until further notice. Our local cinema theatres will follow suit, but there are other services such as Grab Malaysia continuing their business as usual. In this latest news, it seems that our authorized Apple reseller, Machines, will also be closed during the same period.

As many of you already know about Apple admitting slowing down your older iPhone performance, due to the battery ageing issue, many Apple fans were not happy about it and Apple did sure get a backlash. So to compensate for this, Apple has already started a battery replacement with a discount and it's now available at the Apple Malaysia page. Simply called the Machines Protection Plan (MPP), this plan provides protection from accidental damage such as cracked screens and water damage for as low as 42 sen per day. Machines has recently confirmed the availability of the Apple iPhone 5S in Malaysia as 31 October 2013, at least for all the Machines stores. To help illustrate this for all the possible buyers, they've created a chart which they will update regularly and which you can see from the Source. The chart on the page has been updated but do let the folks at Machines know if you spot any errors. The most coveted (and likely most expensive) 64GB Gold version is only available at the KLCC and JBTC shops so if you're within that area or are heading there for that purpose on 31 October 2013, be warned about a possible shortage if you get late in line.
