Chinese consumer electronics firm MEIZU is making an official comeback in our country after being dormant for seemingly ages. This is after its Malaysian social media account was spotted being active again over the past two days or so.

Guess what! Meizu is joining the handheld gaming console industry under its subbrand named PANDAER. It has shared a teaser poster for the launch event and revealed half of how the console would look. Furthermore, it's also calling the console the world's first ultra-thin OLED handheld running the Windows operating system.

A surprising partnership has been announced, and it's between two companies that hardly have any connections, well, except selling smartphones. The latest information shares that Sony will be working with Meizu to utilize its Flyme OS. Both have also confirmed the partnership by posting the announcement on their official Weibo accounts.

Previously, vivo, OPPO and Xiaomi have teamed up to launch a file transfer system that can be deemed as the Android version of Apple's AirDrop. However, the file transfer system could only work between devices from these three brands, and it's not enough. Now, it has been announced that four more brands including OnePlus, Realme, Xiaomi's Black Shark and Meizu are joining the alliance as well, which could eventually lead to more brands joining to take a chance against the AirDrop.
