According to sources from an anonymous supply chain, Microsoft is ready to release a new Surface Book 2 and it’s already in mass production as we speak. But here’s a plot twist, it’s said that the Surface Book 2 won’t be a 2-in-1 but a pure laptop, unlike the first Surface Book.

Remember the time when Microsoft introduced the Microsoft Surface Studio? Well, the all-in-one PC don't really have anything to do with with the sales, but the company has proudly announced that November was the month ever for consumer Surface sales ever. As written in their blog post, they mention more consumers (especially the professional users) are switching sides from Apple's new Macbook Pro that has the Touchbar feature.

Many big companies are having their launch event this week, and Microsoft is certainly one of them. We may see a new Surface Book as well as a new Surface – but new trademark documents suggest we will see other devices as well.

A teaser image was posted by Microsoft today on their Instagram account, it shows a part of a device's QWERTY keyboard, most probably a Surface device, but it should be noted that Microsoft doesn't have any Surface device that looks like that.

The Microsoft Surface Book has been touted as the benchmark for users as the ultimate two-in-one, or so many say. The combination of build, specs and looks means that the Surface Book is a machine that many would like to own as a portable work machine. Now there are reports that the successor for the Surface Book is in the pipeline, and it is coming in the near future.
