After getting Windows users excited with the potential addition of tabs in the OS’ File Explorer, it seems that Microsoft is getting things 'balanced' by also potentially adding a feature that is almost universally loathed. Get this, a Windows 11 Insider build tester recently discovered that Microsoft is testing putting advertisements in File Explorer!
Shared by Florian on Twitter, a screenshot of File Explorer on the Windows 11 Insider build shows a line of ad placed right above the listing of folders and files. Furthermore, it seems that the feature would be putting ads promoting Microsoft products. For this particular instance captured by Florian, he received an ad promoting Microsoft Editor.

It's been a tough few months for Huawei getting caught in the trade war, but here's some good news for the China tech company. According to sources, they have been granted a license by Microsoft to export their software. This is due to the recent ban lift extension by the US Commerce Department this week, giving them another 90 days.
