Last month, the Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) launched the Pakej Perpaduan prepaid mobile internet plan. Now, one month after the launch, KKD Minister Fahmi Fadzil revealed that the RM5 per month SIM card has been purchased by a total of 31,092 people.

The Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) has revealed that a total of 33,540 tablets under the PerantiSiswa initiative have been distributed via centralised distribution centres nationwide within just 3 weeks. Its Minister, Fahmi Fadzil clarified that the centres were activated on 17 February 2023 to expedite the rollout of the devices to eligible students.

The Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) has instructed local telecommunications companies to install generators in flood hotspot areas. This is following the flash floods that have severely affected some parts of Malaysia.
