News & Reviews:   Motorola Moto 360 42mm 2nd gen Malaysia launch

The Moto 360 smartwatch broke new ground as the first smartwatch with a round face. This time around, Lenovo have launched the Moto 360 2nd Generation smartwatch officially in Malaysia as of today. Starting with a roadshow at Centre Court, Mid Valley Megamall and massive discounts for the lucky first 100 to line-up, there will be several devices on sale, available at SenQ, Urban Republic, Thunder Match and Lazada:

• 42mm Moto 360 2nd Gen unisex (with black leather strap) ~ RM1399
• 42mm Moto 360 2nd Gen women's (with rose gold metal strap) ~ RM1499
• 46mm Moto 360 2nd Gen men's (with silver metal strap) ~ RM1599
• Moto 360 Sport (in black) ~ RM1399

The Moto 360 2nd Gen smartwatch is coming to Malaysia tomorrow, and the first 100 to line up at Centre Court, Mid Valley Megamall at 12.30pm may get to buy the 42mm Black Edition Moto 360 on discount. The first 50 will receive 50% off, the next 30 will receive 30% off while the last 20 will get 20% off. While there are still no official Malaysia pricing details, the 42mm Moto 360 2nd Gen smartwatch is currently going for RM1411 on Lazada, so we're guessing a price tag around RM1399. Building upon the first Moto 360 smartwatch, it looks like the Moto 360 2nd Generation is coming to Malaysia on 18 February 2016. Thanks to the invite we've received it looks like the whole family is coming with the Moto 360 2nd Gen and Moto 360 Sport.

We're expecting both the 46mm and 42mm Moto 360 2nd Gen smartwatches as well but there are still no official pricing details. Our current pricing shows the Moto 360 2nd Gen 42mm coming in from RM1411 while the 46mm version is going from RM1550 so prices could be around those or lower. Stay tuned for more details.
