Earlier this year, rumours of a new model of the Nintendo Switch surfaced. This rumoured Pro variant of the console was supposed to support 4K resolution, but Nintendo was quick to deny this a few days later. However, there's a new rumour that suggests a new Switch is still possible, just not the 4K Pro model from the previous rumour.

If you recall, there was news yesterday of how Nintendo is facing a shortage for Switch consoles globally. While unconfirmed, there may be some good news for those who are looking to buy one. Sources have claimed that Nintendo had increased the production of Switch consoles in the past few weeks to address any shortages.

Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, many of us are stuck at home and need a way to not go stir crazy. When Animal Crossing: New Horizon was globally unveiled on 20 March 2020, it met with an overwhelming response with more than 1.88 million copies sold in only 3 days. Game streaming services have begun to appear and Microsoft believes that the new competing platforms are the enemies to be focused on. To that end, Microsoft could be looking to form a unified front with its long-time console competitors - Nintendo and Sony.

In a collaboration between Google and The Pokémon Company International, you can vote for your favourite pokemon from 14 February 2020 at 9:59PM onwards. If you are interested in taking part, all you need to do is search for “Pokemon vote” and vote for your favourite pokémon.

There's been a lot of news coming from Nintendo lately and one of it touches on the Switch Online. The company's paid subscription service currently allows players to enjoy things like online multiplayer, cloud saves, and access to old NES games online. But if that's not enough to convince you to shell out USD 3.99 (~RM16) monthly, rest assured that more is to come.
