The Nothing Phone (1) was just released two nights ago and very quickly, the phone has already sold out. On top of that, interested users would have to get notified by signing up and there's no 8GB + 128GB variant available either. But what about its software support?

In recent years, brands have excluded charging adapters in the packaging for new smartphones. This started with Apple, which claimed that most users already have one. Now, sources have confirmed that Carl Pei's upcoming Nothing Phone (1) will not ship with a charger either.

The internet has been buzzing about the Nothing Phone (1). We've already seen the device's design, and it's something that will definitely grab your attention if you see someone holding it on the streets. However, the Nothing Phone (1) we saw is in a white paint job, and someone has now spotted a black version, which the company might launch on the same day.

We may have gotten a sneak peek at some of the phone (1)’s spec before the official announcement date of 12 July 2022. Spotted on Geekbench 5 listing, it looks like the first smartphone by Nothing is a mid-range offering based on the processor used.

The Nothing phone (1) has been making quite a buzz in the tech industry and the smartphone isn’t even officially out yet. This is thanks to Nothing's marketing team that are making the phone feel ‘exclusive’ through various hype campaigns.

These include selling the first 100 phone (1) to the highest bidders on StockX, which we’ve reported on previously. Now, Nothing has also revealed that the smartphone will only be sold initially via an invite system, which will definitely continue the hype and marketing behind the brand.

Partnering with StockX, Nothing will be selling the first 100 phone (1) via a DropX Exclusive Auction on the platform, whereby the devices will be sold to the highest bidders. According to the StockX website announcing the collaboration, the first 100 Nothing smartphones will be serialised from 1 to 100, making them unique to each individual who managed to secure the device.

The Nothing Phone (1) has finally been unveiled online and it looks quite sleek. However, a YouTuber from Germany just took a trip to check out the phone physically and it's even cooler than we thought. Just as what you see on the cover image, the Nothing Phone (1) does have some lighting.
