Looks like Xiaomi’s General Manager of Xiaomi TV has recently shared a picture on Weibo hinting that Xiaomi could be releasing another Xiaomi TV that’s equipped with an OLED panel in the near future. While not much is known in regards to the exact release date, it does give us a better idea of what to expect from Xiaomi in the coming months.

It seems that Redmi’s product manager might have confirmed that Xiaomi had no plans to release a Redmi smartphone that’s equipped with an LCD display. That said, all of the smartphones released under the Redmi lineup will come equipped with an OLED display instead.

Based on a report by nikkei, it seems that Apple has recently partnered up with TSMC in order to develop micro OLED displays that will be used with Apple’s upcoming AR glasses. Before the Apple iPhone 12 series launches, rumours were saying that the smartphones will come with 120Hz refresh rate displays, making us believed that it's finally the time. As reported earlier, Samsung will not produce LCD anymore after 2020. The company will cease the production of LCD and focus on other display technologies. However, it looks like the Korean tech giant is not going to stop providing LCD products, as they are planning to buy display panels from LG Display.
