While there were a few brands that decided to do an online launch this week, OPPO is one of the brands that decided that revealing its new flagship devices can wait. But the wait is over and now we have confirmation that the company will be hosting an online launch for the Find X2 series on 6 March 2020.

OPPO VP Brian Shen recently revealed hands-on images of an upcoming OPPO smartphone with a “Waterfall Screen”. Unlike current curved edge displays, this still unnamed device has an almost edge-to-edge display that goes down the sides at a sharp angle, much like a waterfall. Images seem to indicate that it could be the next OPPO Find X device and looks to be fully functional. 

OPPO’s Vice President, Shen Yiren, has always shared a lot when it came to the OPPO Reno. This time, he shared that the OPPO Reno may come with OPPO’s brand new VOOC 3.0 charging which is 23.8% faster than its predecessor in contrary to rumours of it having 50W fast charging.

Everyone’s been obsessing over completely bezel-less devices and OPPO definitely feels that as well. OPPO’s Vice President, Shen Yiren shared on Weibo that the OPPO Reno may feature an impressive 93.1% screen to body ratio with bezels as thin as the OPPO Find X.

OPPO has just announced their new line of smartphones bearing the name “Reno”. The smartphones are set to be launched on the 10th of April. The smartphone line brings with it some bright colours and modern designs in the logos, leading us to believe that is made with the youth in mind.

OPPO has unveiled the OPPO Find X 5G Prototype during the China Mobile Global Partners Conference held in Guangzhou from 6 December 2018 to 8 December 2018. The original OPPO Find X, which was first introduced in July 2018 featured a motorized retractable camera at the top of the display which will pop out when in use.

Based on a leaked image from TENAA courtesy of Ice Universe, the upcoming OPPO Find X will come equipped with a whopping 10GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. But other than that, the upcoming OPPO Find X model will feature the same exact specs as with the current models.

What is this special limited edition gift box? Well, turns out that OPPO Malaysia has teamed up with Shiseido, a reputable international cosmetic company to offer the OPPO F9 X Shiseido Starry Purple limited edition gift box. Although no price was mentioned, we believe it should probably cost the same RM1399 if they continue their tradition.

In this short announcement - since we are in September now, that means the Sales and Service Tax (SST) has been implemented and despite this, OPPO Malaysia is proud to announce that all their smartphone prices will remain the same as before across the nation. Yay!

The OPPO Find X is one of the most talked smartphones of this year when it first came out. It's exquisite, the motorized pop-up camera is ingenious, a flagship by OPPO that has been long overdue over the past four years (for being too busy selling selfie centric only phones) and it seems like they pulled it off. But of course, there is no such thing as the perfect smartphone and the Find X definitely has some flaws. Is it worth spending RM3699 for the Find X? Let's get right to it!
