Recently, the expandable display smartphones are becoming a growing trend and it is known to be the future of smartphones. Since few years back, we seen few variants of expandable display smartphones like a foldable, flipping, and a clamshell-like display smartphones. Today, we witness the new rollable display device which is the OPPO X 2021 concept phone.

A statement by androidauthority seems to hint that OPPO will most likely not launch a rollable smartphone in the near future due to lack of business justification and research. Not only that, but the OPPO X 2021 rollable smartphone comes equipped with a plastic screen, which is not durable enough to withstand constant real-life use.

Other than the OPPO X 2021 smartphone that has a rollable OLED display, the company has announced a couple of other interesting technology products at the OPPO INNO DAY 2020 event as well including the OPPO AR Glass 2021 and OPPO Cybereal AR application. The products are built with “Technology for Mankind, Kindness for the World” in mind and through their 3+N+X technology development strategy.

Today, OPPO hosted their first INNO Day 2020 and revealed new technology highlights. Among the highlight, the most prominent one is the OPPO X 2021 because it features an OLED display that can be expanded!
