If you’re a OnePlus 7 series  or OnePlus 7T series owner, then we’ve got some bad news for you as the two 2019 flagship series from the company have officially run its course software-wise. Announced via a OnePlus community forum post, Winkey W. from the company’s software team confirmed that OxygenOS 12 MP3 update would be the last build for both smartphone series. 

The OnePlus 7 series were highly successful but many had been holding back from getting the device as the OnePlus 7T series will be coming soon. So far, the info we got has been pretty interesting as the device may feature the Snapdragon 855+ chipset and a 2K Super AMOLED display.

Over the weekend, OnLeaks from Twitter shared an interesting image of a smartphone featuring a rather unique triple rear camera design. Of course, it turns out to be the OnePlus 7T device thanks to the logo behind but before we go any further, do take this news with a grain of salt as this is just a render based on rumours.

After the success of the OnePlus 7 series, many are now excited for the next big thing from OnePlus - the OnePlus 7T. We most likely won’t be seeing the series hit the market till November but many are speculating that the device may be featuring Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 855+ and a better selfie camera. Thing is, how can they top the super great OnePlus 7 series without raising the price tag too much?

Here are the unboxing and first impressions of the OnePlus 7 Pro, which has a 90Hz display with HDR10+ capabilities, pop-up front-facing selfie camera, triple rear camera setup, warp charging and more. The device is currently priced starting from RM2999, and the device's display has been graded A+ by DisplayMate which is the highest rating possible to date.

Investigation by Android Police revealed something very interesting about the OnePlus7 Pro. The 3x optical zoom on the telephoto lens is actually not 3x zoom but is around 2.2x zoom instead. The remaining 0.8x is achieved by cropping. With no digital zoom used in the photo, the photo retains its detail and quality.

Starting today, the OnePlus 7 Pro has been officially launched in Malaysia starting from RM2999 and it will come equipped with notable features such as a HDR10+ and smooth 90Hz capable display, front-facing pop-up camera, 30W Warp Charge fast charging capabilities, and facial recognition system that is capable of unlocking the phone in just 0.21 seconds. It will be available in 3 different colours including Nebula Blue, Mirror Gray, and Almond from partners across Malaysia. The OnePlus 7 Pro has been officially revealed in New York of the United States and it has three variants. Starting with the 6GB + 128GB variant, the starting price is 669USD (~RM2790) while OnePlus 7 was no where to be mentioned. The phone will come with 3 different colour designs - Black, Blue and Rose Gold.

Dubbed the “flagship killer”, the OnePlus 7 series is set to be launched globally tomorrow, the 14th of May. We now have a Malaysia release date for the OnePlus 7 series which is on the 21st of May. The smartphone comes with many interesting features and powerful tech specs such as the Snapdragon 855 chipset and more.

The closer we get to a smartphone launch, the larger the scale of a leak. In this case, the leak involves the full specs of the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro. From what it sounds like, this device combines many aspects of different devices that people enjoy and put it together into a smartphone. However, the price can be a little steep, starting at 699 Euro (~RM3261).
