Based on a statement by theverge.com, it seems that OnePlus recently pushed an update which disables the Photochrom feature which allows users to see through specific thin clothing and plastics via the camera on the OnePlus 8 Pro. Furthermore, they’ve also mentioned that they will enable the aforementioned feature once again in the future presumable with some tweaks.

Based on a tweet by @BenGeskin on Twitter, it seems that the OnePlus 8 Pro, which was launched exactly a month ago comes equipped with camera filter which allows it to see through some thin black plastic as well as thin black clothes. The user also included a video in his tweet, which shows how clearly the camera is able to see through the plastic when switching the filter to Photochrom.

Based on a statement by techradar.com, it seems that the OnePlus 8 Pro is exhibiting display issues where the screen shows a green tint when on low brightness. OnePlus did mention that they are aware of the issue and are currently working on a fix as soon as it is available to address the issue, which could be available in the coming months.

A hands-on video of the OnePlus 8 Pro has been spotted on MKBHD’s Twitter account detailing a bit of the design of the smartphone, as well as what it comes equipped with.
