It seems more companies are getting into the tablet business. OnePlus is expected to launch its first tablet this week, with some renders already revealing some parts of the device. Now, sources have also confirmed some accessories that the OnePlus Pad would ship with.

Previously, we reported on OnePlus teasing its first-ever Android tablet with an official poster on its official Indian website. Now, the tablet has been confirmed to make its debut during OnePlus’ Cloud 11 event through an official poster which also revealed its name: OnePlus Pad.

The first rumour of OnePlus launching a tablet appeared back in mid-2021. After that, leaks continued to appear until this year's July, with the last claiming that the device was delayed until early 2023. Now, the rumour has returned, and it brings the same information.

OnePlus has ventured into TVs, audio products and wearables besides smartphones, but never tablets. Earlier, the company got spotted trademarking the name "OnePlus Pad", hinting at the arrival of its first tablet. However, we haven't heard anything about it since then. Until now, we have the latest information claiming that the tablet is scheduled to launch in H1 2022.

OnePlus started as a smartphone-only brand but has recently entered other markets with smartwatches, TVs, and other tech gadgets like power banks, earphones and more. To further expand its product categories, the company is said to launch its first tablet very soon.
